Creating sprites in Photoshop
Under construction
By far the most common search term on my game design blog is "Creating sprites in Photoshop". I have a brief blog entry that quickly steps through the process I use for creating simple sprites in Photoshop but I suspect there just isn't enough detail for people to latch on to such that they can go away and create their own sprites.
So I wanted to go to the trouble of putting down some more detail on the subject.
I will cover what I see as the three key areas of sprite design; colour, composition and scale. When you have the perfect balance between the three compononents your sprites should stand up well within your game and give you something to share and be proud of.
Please bear with me whilst I complete this section. I hope to have it written very soon.
